Romantic Vasily Ligarov has finally found the love of his life - two months after his 91st birthday.
Vasily - who fought for the USSR's Red Army during World War II - popped the question to Valentina Ibrahimova after falling for her at their care home in Volgograd, Russia.
At just 71, she's young enough to be his daughter but accepted his proposal on the spot.
"I was very nervous – after all it's the first time I've ever proposed a woman and I wanted to get it right," said Vasily.
The couple spent their wedding night in a double room in their care home, where emergency medical staff are on duty all night.
