Sausage Poshers
Sausage fans are flocking to a snap up a new type of VIP banger served with caviar in Vienna, Austria, thanks to actor John Malkovich.
The star became a fan of the city's open air sausage stands during a theatre run but bemoaned that fact that there wasn't anywhere to buy posher nosh.
Now a new stall has opened serving up exactly the sausage recipe the actor recommended - stuffed with organic meat and cheese, cooked in truffle oil and served with caviar and champagne.
Manager Thomas Danecek said that despite the new menu, the eaterie has got all sorts flocking to it.
"The sausage stand is a great leveller – it's where top managers will meet labourers," he explained.
The "saucisse au fromage avec caviar" is on sale for around 15 GBP - including Dijon mustard imported fresh...
