London-based agency Specialist News Services secured a half-page exclusive in The Sun with their story on how car firms are fooling consumers with inaccurate miles per gallon figures.

The story revealed how small cars were the worst for having flawed MPG stats and that buyers of cars that claim to do more than 60 miles to the gallon are 'being taken for a ride'.

The agency teamed up with What Car? magazine and experts from Emissions Analytics to source the figures. The story was snapped up by The Sun's consumer editor Dan Jones.
