Mercury Press are celebrating after Ofcom awared the local TV licence for Liverpool to its partner company Bay TV Liverpool. This comes after Made TV, whose media partners are South West News Service, secured the licence for local TV in Bristol. More than 20 further licences are to be awarded later in the year in a second round, and it is hoped that other NAPA members may be involved in some of those bids.
